Bold Simplicity:Jacqueline Casey’s Impact on ModernFor this project, I revisited the work of Jacqueline Casey, a designer whose practice helped expand access and visibility within institutional spaces. Working within a Swiss-influenced framework, Casey developed a visual language rooted in structure, clarity, and control.
This project looks at the progression of her work, focusing on how typography, scale, and composition were used to shape the way information is introduced and understood. Rather than treating her posters as static outcomes, the study breaks them down as systems—examining how each piece operates through repetition, cropping, and constraint.
The result is a series of spreads that translate her approach into an editorial format, providing both context and analysis while maintaining the discipline and restraint present in her work.
