Design Culture Now—Spec work

Design Culture Now is a visual identity system inspired by the New York City subway. Drawing from the bold graphic language of transit signage, the project reframes movement and navigation as tools for design storytelling. Positioned at the intersection of two city icons—the MTA and Cooper Hewitt—this work bridges infrastructure and culture to celebrate design in motion.

An admission ticket modeled after the iconic MTA MetroCard bridges the city's transit culture with its design heritage. A symbol of access, both literal and cultural.

Inspired by subway countdown clocks, this piece transforms a utilitarian interface into a sense of anticipation—counting down not to a train, but to
an experience.
