Design Culture Now
Design Culture Now is a visual identity system that collides two iconic New York institutions—the Cooper Hewitt and the MTA subway. By drawing on the subway’s bold signage, the project transforms movement and navigation into a lens for design storytelling, celebrating the city’s unique visual culture.
An admission ticket modeled after the iconic MTA MetroCard bridges the city's transit culture with its design heritage. A symbol of access, both literal and cultural.
Inspired by subway countdown clocks, this piece transforms a utilitarian interface into a sense of anticipation—counting down not to a train, but to
an experience.
The poster turns a subway map into a journey, each stop revealing an artist and the story of New York’s design in motion.
